2024 Long Island Gingerbread/Chocolate House Competition

Calling all bakers!
Join us for our 9th annual gingerbread and chocolate house competition on December 10th at the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale Village, Sponsored by The Farmingdale Village Cultural Arts Committee & The Chocolate Duck.

The Chocolate Duck, located in Farmingdale Village, is hosting the competition, including original Gingerbread houses, adult and youth divisions, and amateur and open divisions. Prizes will be awarded in each division and the entry deadline is December 9th. The competition is open to the public at noon on December 10th and includes a “People’s Choice Award”. Help us feed the hungry, there will be a collection for locals in need – if possible, please bring donations of non-perishable foods for Long Island Cares.

Judging: 9:00 am-Noon, closed to the public.
Open to Public: Noon – 4:00 pm, free for spectators
Awards Presentation/Concluding: 4:00 pm
